A high-level delegation from Western Sydney University, Australia, visited ICRISAT explore potential areas of collaboration


PhotoA high-level delegation from Western Sydney University, Australia, comprising Professor Ian Anderson, Pro Vice-Chancellor (Research); Professor Mark Tjoelker, Director, Hawkesbury Institute for the Environment; Dr Nisha Rakhesh, Head, International Strategies and Partnerships; and Dr Kopal Chaube (PhD), Lead, Research Collaborations and Partnerships (South Asia), visited ICRISAT and met with Director General Dr Himanshu Pathak to explore potential areas of collaboration.

The delegation also interacted with scientists from the Resilient Farming Systems Program, Anantha KH, Kaushal Garg Venkata Radha Akuraju and discussed opportunities for joint research proposals, student exchanges, and capacity-building initiatives to further strengthen academic and research linkages between the two institutions.
