ICRISAT convened a high-level review meeting at the Bihar Centre of Excellence for Millets Value Chain (BCoEMVC) in Mayapur, Gaya on 6 August 2025. The meeting brought together key officials, including Dr Stanford Blade, Deputy Director General – Research and Innovation, Dr Rebbie Harawa, Global Research Program Director – Resilient Farm and Food Systems, Dr Kuldeep Singh, Head of Genebank, Dr Ramesh Singh, Cluster Head – ICRISAT Development Center, and other leading scientists from ICRISAT.
They were joined by Dr Ismaeil, Deputy Director (Agriculture), Government of Bihar. The delegation reviewed ongoing research activities, assessed campus infrastructure, visited field sites, interacted with field staff, and engaged in detailed discussions on future development plans for the Center. The visit aimed to evaluate progress and strategize further steps to enhance millet value chains in the region.
