| Debi Prasad Sahoo was born in Cuttack, India, in 1992. He earned his B.Tech in Agricultural Engineering from Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology in 2014, followed by an M.Tech in Water Engineering and Management with distinction from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur in 2017. He completed his Ph.D. at IIT Kharagpur in 2023, with a thesis titled “Coupled Remote Sensing-Hydrodynamic Based Frameworks for High-Frequency Streamflow and Suspended Solids Monitoring.” He has over a year of postdoctoral research experience at CNR-IRPI, Italy, where he contributed to several international projects, including CCI-RD, CRYOTEMPO, and UAWOS. His expertise lies in hydrology and remote sensing, with a focus on the development of multi-functional landscapes that integrate water resource management, ecosystem services, and sustainable land use planning. |
