| Dr. Santosh Kale is an Associate Scientist at ICRISAT promoting waste-to-wealth practices that support regenerative agriculture techniques in a range of agroecologies to improve carbon build-up at various production system levels. He has a doctorate in Soil Science and specializes in Carbon Dynamics, Nutrient Management, Crop Production, Soil Fertility, Biochar, and Soil carbon sequestration. Dr. Santosh was awarded SRF Fellowship during Ph.D. – Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj National Research Fellowship (June 2020 – December 2022). He completed his Ph.D. from Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapeeth, Rahuri. With over 25 research articles, book chapters, and popular articles published. He received a Gold Medal – Indian Society of Soil Science (Rahuri chapter), MPKV, Rahuri, Maharashtra (February 2024); Gold Medal – University Level at PhD Convocation in Physical Sciences group (SSAC/Biochemistry), MPKV, Rahuri, Maharashtra (February 2024). He has qualified National Eligibility Test-ASRB – ICAR-ASRB-NET (2019 and 2021). |
