Application of Bio Technology in Rural Areas: Rapid Composting of Waste in Rural Areas
Course Overview
ICRISAT Development Center (IDC) is offering hands-on training to educated rural youth who are seriously looking for opportunities for starting their own enterprise by imparting knowledge and skills on rapid composting techniques. This course will be for a period of four days during which the selected candidates will explore all aspects of composting processes like size reduction of biomass, rapid composting practices, logistics involved, quality management. Besides, they will also learn to develop a business plan for aerobic composting so they can approach banks to finance their project.
Educated youth who are committed to Eco-friendly agricultural practices, environmental consciousness and want to start a business of their own in rural areas are strongly encouraged to apply. Keeping in view the facilities only 30 eligible candidates will be selected for hands-on certificate course.
Eligibility Criteria:
Education:
10th class pass, Diploma in Agriculture or Degree in any subject.
Age limit: Not more than 35 years as on 30.04.2019.
